1. What it is for

evrouteplan offers free tools to plan journeys by electric vehicle: a route simulator for cars, a truck simulator in beta and a cost calculator. No registration is needed.

2. Results are estimates

Routes, stops, times, consumption and costs are calculated with our own tools, not official ones and not the carmakers’, from third-party data (Google Maps, Open Charge Map, Open-Meteo and published specifications). They are always estimates:

  • Third-party data may be incomplete, out of date or wrong: a charger may not exist, be in use or be out of service.
  • Real consumption depends on how you drive, the load, the vehicle’s condition, traffic and weather.
  • For exact data on your vehicle, ask its manufacturer. This website does not replace the manufacturer’s information or your car’s navigation.
  • Decisions on the road are always the driver’s, who must obey traffic rules and speed limits.

3. Terms of use

By using the website you agree to use it lawfully and in line with these terms, and not in ways that could harm it or stop others from using it (for example, mass automated queries).

4. Liability

We work to keep the website running and its calculations correct, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, the owner is not liable for damage arising from using the results as if they were exact, nor for failures or content of the third-party services the website uses.

5. Intellectual and industrial property

The design, code, texts, graphics and the evrouteplan brand belong to the owner or are used with permission. They may not be copied or reused without authorisation, except for personal use.

Charger data come from Open Charge Map and its contributors, maps from Google and forecasts from Open-Meteo, each under its own terms and attributions, shown on the website. Vehicle and third-party brands (Google Maps, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, App Store, Google Play and others) belong to their owners and are named here for descriptive purposes only.

6. Links to other websites

The website links to third-party sites (for example Google Maps or the data sources). We do not control or take responsibility for their content.

7. Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal data is explained in the privacy policy, and what is stored in your browser in the cookie policy.

8. Governing law

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may go to the courts of your place of residence.
